In August 2026 I did Design and Analyze on a new design for a race ski which is an evolution of the 2025 design. It turned out that the initial design with Titanal was giving delamination. It could be due to the vacuum pressing method or due to the pure prep work, however the client now would like to replace Titanal with carbon fiber, and keep same performance characteristics. Below is an attached short study with the new design tool from Black chapel.
