    This is a kiteboards and wakeboards paulownia wood core vertically laminated.

    Paulownia is the best woodcore for kiteboards or wakeboards. It offers high durability and very light weight. It is superior to Balsa in every way, also how well it works with epoxy.

    WARNING: These board are light and fragile if shipped only 1pcs. Due to the fragile nature of these boards during shipping (we protect them well in double cardboard and Fragile marks), we recommend that minimum 2pcs are bought! If you buy 1pcs, you thereby accept responsibility for any transport damage. Boards are always fixable by glue or epoxy. Once the core is covered with composite it will be good as new.

    This material is 100% natural and excellent for all products. The stiffness is higher then glass fabric, but lower then carbon. Please see datasheet and try simulator to get an idea.

    Another great property is that the material works well as a dampener. This means you can use the Biaxial and UD flax together or you can combine them with glass or carbon.

    Instructions: The flax fiber absorbs more resin.

    Pneumatic presses with ~5  bar is recommended to make good laminate with minimum excess resin.

    Vacuum press: follow this resin quantity recommendations: resin / (resin + fabric) = 60%
    Spread the resin well with a roll on a flat surface or pour the epoxy on to the fabric and then make a roll out of it. Then let it soak for some minutes. Much easier than try to smear it out.

     Tip: Use masking tape when cutting it for better result!

    PA Topsheet for skis, snowboard or kiteboard, wakeboard.

    PA nylon topsheet – ICP 8210 is a 2 layer topheet, PA11 and PA12. ICP 8210 is tough, durable topsheet. It is harder then TPU/ABS and higher quality. Highest quality topsheet on the market.

    Multiple sizes and surface finishes available.

    Protective foil should not be removed until your product is complete!

    PA topsheet gives more stiff ride and is a bit harder to machine, so make sure you have sharp tools.

    It comes in flamed or sanded and flamed finish on epoxy side. Outer side can be glossy, matte or with a certain structure (or brushed).
