Sidewall and filler/insert material is used around the wood core to close it off and prevent from water coming in, and protect it from any hard impact.
Abs material is a softer material compared to Uhmw pe material and gives more soft ride. Uhmw pe is more durable. Both bind well when prepared correctly.
Quantity needed:
Ski pair: 4 sidewalls and about 300x350mm filler/insert material
SNB: 2 sidewalls and about 300x350mm filler/insert material
Kite/wake board: 2-3 sidewalls and about min. 500x300mm filler/insert material

Modified thermoplastic Isosport ABS sidewalls. Extruded sheetmade of modified ABS(Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene), ID 1000 offers a good cost to performance ratio if characteristics like impactstrength, machinability and stiffness are necessary. Specification is below.

Wipeing your sidewalls or filler materials with alcohol will greatly improve the bound to the epoxy, and decrease the chance of delamination later on!

Smooth cast 65D, Polyurethane resin for pouring sidewalls, tip/tail filler, for insert area or fin area, underfoot reinforcement or even for topcoat or similar. Gives nice smooth finish. Easy to bind to epoxy after just machining.
Easy to work with, super durable and easy to machine. Bounding with epoxy needs no treatment.
Urethane resin can easily be poured in a channel and hardens quickly. It gives very durable and hard to break sidewalls, easy to machine and binds easily to other layers without flaming/sanding.
